While our standard Lightbridge deployments are optimized for extending connectivity across challenging environments, Lightbridge Pro is purpose-built for seamless integration into carrier-grade networks, including mobile backhaul, urban densification, enterprise applications, and data centers.

The core innovation in Lightbridge Pro pairs our 20 Gbps full-duplex connection with an intelligent, integrated switch for automatic, hitless switchover to a radio frequency (RF) or fiber backup. When adverse atmospheric conditions like heavy rain or fog impact optical performance, traditional external switches can take several seconds to transition. By integrating the switch directly into the terminal, Lightbridge Pro eliminates that delay, maintaining 99.999% carrier-grade continuity at all times.

We've also focused on simplifying operations. Lightbridge Pro reduces total cost of ownership by minimizing external hardware and cabling, and it supports comprehensive network management (FCAPS) with native integration into carrier OSS and BSS platforms. Operators can increase capacity without re-architecting their networks.
